Shoot Out

1976 - Chicago Coin

Targets appear one at a time, popping up from behind a barrel or in a window and you have a few seconds to shoot the target.  When hit, the target disappears.  There are two moving light animated targets.  One that appears above Saloon doors.  The other appears as a hologram in the foreground by the barrel.  If hit, it changes directions. and can be hit repeatedly.  There is also a "shoot out" where a  cowboy with a gun appears in the opening saloon doors.  If you shoot him fast before he shoots you, the cowboy falls down and a light turns on saying "you got him".  If you are not fast enough another light goes on that says "he got you".

Hoss Shoes

1960's (unknown date) - Global Industries

A very unique and rare shuffleboard style game where you push small metal horseshoes toward a pin in the opposite side of the playfield.  The pin is surrounded by a hole that is just the right size to drop the mini horseshoe through in a perfect shot.  Scoring is controlled by the user by pressing their color (green or red) scoring buttons.  A ringer is 3, a leaner is 2 and you get 1 point for overlapping the hole.  Deceptively hard as the horseshoe spins as you push it and the slightest rotation will cause you to bounce off the pin!  If an opponent is blocking you, the sides are rubberized to allow you to ricochet at any bank angle to circumvent their block.

Finally there is a room for adults!  The children always have games catered to their desires but hardly ever do the adults get a place just for them to enjoy.  The vintage museum is for adults 16 and over.  Many of these games are from the 1950's and you will be amazed at the level of imagination these designers had to create games with so little technology.  No video screens, no computer boards, no Ram or hard drives, just motors, chain drives, coils, leaf switches and mirrors! We have brought together a collection of rare games that you won't see anywhere else and may not have ever seen before yet some may remember them from when they were young!

There are also social games located here where you are encouraged to be SOCIAL!  Meet new people, play a game of shuffleboard or bowl a game with a stranger.  Get to know others, you'd be surprised how interesting and worth knowing so many people are that you might otherwise pass by any other day.

Here is a list of the vintage games with a description of the game as well as a link to the advertisement flier that was distributed by the manufacturer way back when.

A racing game that can be difficult to master but so much fun when you do.  Ask Rick or BJ to show how.  The gas pedal doubles as the brake as you let off the pedal.  You must race fast enough to prevent a car from hitting you from behind, jerking the steering wheel and flashing "Accident" across the top of the projection screen.  You must also time your passing of cars such that you won't get trapped and hit the cars in the passing lane.  You can reach 1st position and extended play is awarded when you do.
